Apple and Black Forest Fruits Crumble.
| PREP TIME | 5 Min |
| COOK TIME | 30 - 40 Min |
| READY IN | 35 - 45 Min |
| SERVES | 4 - 6 |
INGREDIENTS
- 500g
Frozen Black Forest Fruits, defrosted- (or other brand but that is what Denise used, it was on 'special' at the time!)
- 4 - 5 small "eating" apples
- 300g ready made crumble mix
- 1½ tablespoons sugar
DIRECTIONS
- Preheat oven to 350 F / 180 C / Gas mark 4.
- Rinse and slice the apples and remove the cores (you could also peel them if you wish, but the skin gives added texture)
- Layer the apples and black forest fruits alternately into a 9 inch (23 cm) diameter ovenproof dish that is at least 3 inch (7.5 cm) deep (Denise uses a glass casserole dish without the lid).
- Sprinkle the sugar over the fruit then pour over the juice from the defrosted fruit.
- Layer the ready made crumble mix over the top, you want to cover all the fruit as evenly as possible.
- Cook in the preheated oven for 30 to 40 minutes until the top is golden brown
- Serve hot or cold with custard or cream.
