Q17 You said you had paid to have the adverts removed...

For the rest of the site, since I removed the pop up adverts from the host I've signed up with a company that pays for displaying 3 adverts around the site. This gives a small regular income which covers hosting fees, electricity used etc.

There are currently 1 ad on the Home page and 1 ad each at the bottom of Fun and Glossary index pages. If you have any more than this it's nothing to do with me or the site, more likely a piece of software that has installed on your PC and feeds the ads to you whether you want them or not!

I have also been asked about the links to other sites down the side of the pages.

There should be no links down the sides of the pages. The only links I put in are within the text or on the Links pages (and they are in the centre of the page!). Again I think that there must be something on your PC feeding them to you!

Some Tool Bars are known for this type of activity, not the HamInfoBar though! so I am informed.
