Very useful site, glad to have found it. Have is tagged for future reference. On the mic pinout page for the KDK radios, you have the FM-2015. The FM-2016 is same pinout.

Admin reply: Thanks for the comments Don, I'll add that mic info on the next site update.

Lots of useful information! Found the site while searching for battery equivalents and was surprised by the ham radio info too. Good job.

Stumbled across your site by accident and it is great. So well done in the way it is presented in that it is to the point without waffle. I will recommend this to the people in my club, Edgware and District Radio Society. Good luck and many thanks. 73 G0PQB

hello, i found your site whilst searching for one of these - A221/505 (Eveready 505) 22.5 Volts Zink Manganese Photo Battery. i see you have some details on your site about the 505 battery. i was wondering if anyone has any information of the best place to get one from? i have found a few in the USA but i would like to buy from the UK.

i would really appreciate some advice.

Admin reply: (replied via email)
Hi there Burien

I would suggest contacting the Small Battery Company.

They are based in London and their page for the 505 shows them as available.

See:
http://www.smallbattery.company.org.uk/sbc_a221.htm?a221,Eveready%2 0/%20Energizer,505

Hope they can sort you out.

Brian

No particular comments Nice site though.
I operate HF / VHF / UHF at the moment. I have a Kenwood TS2000X, ICE2820, FT 817. I am configuring for SAT work if I can get planning permission for the Antenna.

Have fun
Stephen

Hi Brian,
Your OPC-1529R cable works like a dream. I did have a problem initially but that was down to my poor construction technique. When I went back into it and tidied up my soldering etc it works VERY well and is operating my 91AD as I write.
I would urge others having a problem to review their work quality as I did.

Thanks and cheers
