This quiz was compiled by myself for the Highfields Amateur Radio Club. Originally it was intended for use on 29 September but circumstances conspired to hold it up until 20 October.

General knowledge and a few light-hearted logic questions to get you thinking. Some may seem too easy but are you sure? A possible score of 20 points.

No prizes for this quiz, it's just for fun. Please, no cheating though!

  1. A chap who is down on his luck discovers that he can roll a cigarette using 7 "dog-ends". If he collects 49 "dog-ends", how many cigarettes could he roll?

  16. I have in my hand 2 UK coins that are in current circulation. Their total value is 70p. A 50p piece is not one of the coins. What 2 coins are they?
