BP-256. Battery Details Page.

BP-257 is a battery holder that takes 2 × AA batteries and has a voltage step up converter built in. NOTE:TX Power of the radio is reduced using the BP-257. There are some "AA" sized Li-ion batteries available that, at 3.7 volts each, supposedly give full output when fitted in the BP-257, though you need a special charger for these batteries. I have not tried this, it was reported on Mods.dk about the BP-216, which is similar tho the BP-257.
