Battery Details.

The CR2335 lithium coin cells and equivalents are rather unusual and can be hard to find.

If you need to substitute a different lithium cell of nearly the same dimensions because you can't find one of these you could try:

• The CR2430. It is only 1mm larger in diameter and 0.5mm shallower.
• If the larger diameter looks like it could be problematical then how about the, very common, CR2032? This is 3mm smaller in diameter and 0.3mm shallower, so easing the contacts in the holder outward may be helpful (gently, you dont want to break them!).

Another option, of course, is, if room and your expertise allow, remove the holder and fit a holder for a different, commonly available, size of battery and use one of those.
